Innovations from CES 2025: Insights from Our Team

CES 2025 took place just a few days ago and once again proved why it’s the global stage for innovation, connecting technology pioneers, decision-makers, and visionaries to showcase groundbreaking products and ideas. This year’s event highlighted a future defined by sustainable, connected, and intelligent technologies. We asked our team members to share their thoughts on the most relevant technologies and innovations unveiled at CES 2025. Here’s what they had to say:

Toyota’s Woven City: City of the Future

Ricardo Francisco, Chief Technical Officer

"As expected, AI was a dominant theme at this year’s CES. However, the presentation I found most inspiring was Toyota’s Woven City project. The concept of a small city as a living laboratory offers a transformative vision for smart urban ecosystems, showcasing how technology can tangibly enhance urban life."

He added: "Initiatives like this not only redefine the potential of smart cities but also pave the way for platforms like City-as-a-Platform to centralize, analyze, and extract meaningful insights from the vast data generated by these advanced urban systems. While AI and robotics are undoubtedly the most disruptive technologies since the internet, projects like Woven City inspire us to push the boundaries of innovation, driving sustainable, connected cities of the future."

Saros Z70: The Robot Vacuum of Today

Ana Guerra, Head of Marketing

"CES 2025 has been a playground of futuristic robots, but the Saros Z70 stood out as something genuinely useful to me. As someone who loves her trusty robot vacuum, I couldn’t resist admiring this innovation. With its first-of-its-kind robotic arm capable of clearing clutter before vacuuming, it feels like a product ready for today, not five years away!"

NVIDIA Cosmos: Accelerating Robotics and Autonomous Systems

Mário Sobral, Technical Manager

"Robots, autonomous vehicles, and AI were big topics this year. My favorite announcement was NVIDIA’s Cosmos platform, which generates high-fidelity, physics-aware video simulations from simple inputs. It offers developers a way to create massive amounts of synthetic data to train models, making it a game-changer for robotics and autonomous vehicles." He added: "With an open license model, Cosmos is set to drive innovation in robotics, autonomous vehicles, and beyond. The potential impact on future products is immense."

Flint’s Paper Battery: A Sustainable Power Solution

Nuri Shahzad, Junior Marketing Manager

"Trying to stay ahead of trends and remembering the clunky mobile phones of the past with their heavy batteries, Flint’s paper battery feels like the future," said Nuri. "The idea of batteries that biodegrade in weeks without compromising functionality is quite extraordinary. It’s an important step toward reducing the environmental impact of traditional batteries, with potential applications in IoT and electric vehicles. This is the kind of breakthrough that defines CES."

From sustainable power solutions to robotics and smart cities, CES connects the brightest minds and the most innovative companies to solve the world's biggest challenges.
